Material and Written Culture of Christian Egypt

On April 21, from 4 p.m. CET, Louise Blanke (University of Edinburgh) will present a paper titled "An Archaeology of Egyptian Monasticism: Settlement, Economy and Daily Life at the White Monastery Federation."

Her talk is part of the lecture series "Material and Written Culture of Christian Egypt," organized by the Digital Edition of the Coptic-Sahidic Old Testament project (Göttingen Academy) and the Seminar for Egyptology and Coptic Studies at the University of Göttingen.
