Publications
The Göttingen Academy of Sciences and Humanities provides access to a wide range of scholarly resources, both in print and digital form. In addition to its reference library, the Academy hosts a growing digital infrastructure that supports open-access research, long-term archiving, and the dissemination of academic work produced within its projects and commissions.
The Academy’s publishing tradition began in 1739 and continues today in print and digital form.
The Göttingen Academy maintains a physical library with a reference collection of the Academy’s printed works, which is spread out over several locations. In the Digital Library, you can find databases and searchable text corpora generated in the various research projects, by Academy members, and by members of the research commissions.
The document server ‘res doctae’ stands in the tradition of the journal Göttingische Zeitungen von Gelehrten Sachen (Göttingen News of Scholarly Matters), published since 1739. As an institutional repository, ‘res doctae’ offers an organisational and technical framework for electronic publishing to all members of the Academy as well as to the members of its scientific working groups and projects.
Under Publication Series you will find a brief overview of regular publications and proceedings of the Academy.
