Equal Opportunities

The Göttingen Academy of Sciences and Humanities promotes gender equality across all scientific and non-scientific work processes. 

In 2022, the main focus was on developing the Equal Opportunities Plan, which on the basis of staff composition outlines planned measures for fostering gender equity, supporting work-life balance, and assisting early-career researchers. A newly established Communications Forum facilitates cross-project exchange on relevant topics and is highly valuable for designing effective personnel measures with a focus on equal opportunities.
