The Academy of Sciences points out to the visitors of its websites that the visit data are being recorded for the purpose of analysing the number of visitors. The data necessary for this analysis are stored and processed during a visit to our websites in a complete anonymous form. The Academy of Sciences in Göttingen can at no point of time relate the visit to your person or to where you are at that moment.  

We make use of the Open Source Web analysis software Piwik in order to send activity pattern data of your visit in anonymous form to our server.
